I've started dist upgrade to 20.04
from a graphical terminal and left it unattended for a while. Since I came back I can only see the lock screen (which is supposedly disabled until reboot, by the way) and it keeps rejecting the correct password.
I have verified the password correctness by displaying it in cleartext. I am able to login on a text terminal using Ctrl+Alt+F3
with the same password. From shell, I can see that the focal
process is still running, but possibly waiting for user input, because cpu usage is very low. Tried sudo apt update
to see that the setup hasn't finished (a lock file is present). Before I left, the upgrade had already downloaded data and had already asked for user choice when configuring a keyboard package. It must be waiting for user input.
I've tried unlocking the/all sessions with loginctl
with no success.
这些选择是否现实?
- 还有其他方法可以强制解锁锁屏吗?
- 我可以从(工作的)纯文本终端强制连接到升级终端/外壳吗?
- 如果终止升级或重新启动PC,升级是否还可以生存?
